Site Three – Chalk Hill

At this point Braddock’s
Road angled northwest, while Rte. 40 continues westward. To rejoin Braddock’s Road, the traveler
should drive west on U.S. 40 for 3.4 miles to SR 2021. This is at the top of Chalk Hill. On the left is the Summit Inn with its
spectacular views of the Uniontown area.
At the intersection of U.S. 40 and SR 2021 is an historical marker
noting Braddock’s Rock Fort Camp a few miles away. |
