Site Nine – Great Swamp Camp

This picture is of an access road to a flood control lake in Bullskin Twp. It is believed that this road was built directly over Braddock’s Trail and that the “Great Swamp” lied somewhere within this lake. The corduroy road that Braddock’s men had to build to cross the swamp probably lies somewhere within this small body of water. |
