Motor Coach Trip to Annapolis,MD

5:45 AM to 12:00 AM

Full Itinerary:


5:45-6:00 AM - meet at Vacation Station/Wellington Square rear parking lot and board motor coach. Free parking.

10:45 Arrive Annapolis and the US Naval Academy for Guided Historical Tour that includes: Lejeune Hall, Dahlgren Hall, Bancroft Hall, Tecumseh Court, Herndon Monument, crypt of John Paul Jones, Admiral Perry's flag from the Battle of Lake Erie, and the Rogers Ship Models.

1-3 PM - free time on your own for lunch and shopping in downtown Historic Annapolis

3:30 PM - Docent-guided tour of Paca House and Gardens - depart at 5 PM for motor coach trip to dinner.

5:30-7:30 PM - Dinner at Renditions Golf Club in Davidsonville. Why Renditions? Many of us will remember Mr. P's Restaurant on Route 30 in Greensburg - now sadly demolished - and Jacque Perkins Leancu, the owner and manager of Mr. P's, is now Events Manager at Renditions. We can do a little reminiscing about Greensburg history as we discuss events of the day.

7:30 - Depart for Greensburg - should be back before midnight. Long day - bring pillow to snooze on bus trip home!

The cost of the trip is $119.95 for WCHS members and $129.95 for non-members. Non-refundable reservations are required by June 4th.
