Historic House Tour 2012

This year's tour features five historically significant homes in the areas of Latrobe and the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds (Mount Pleasant Township).
The Historic House Tour fosters appreciation for the wonderful heritage of Westmoreland County. The homes we build, the way we furnish them, how long we live there, and why we leave tells us something about the circumstances of the times.
People like to know the history of their homes and the residents who preceded them. It enhances our sense of place and belonging, and reflects our understanding that a big part of who we are is a product of those who came before us. History gives us context, which in turn provides direction, and makes us better decision makers. That is why history is important, and why the Westmoreland County Historical Society is so committed to this cause.
REGISTRATION/DIRECTIONS
Fee : $25 ($30 day of tour - on sale at all sites and at Latrobe Art Center)
Location : Latrobe, Mount Pleasant Township
Directions : Tickets holders will receive written instructions and a map to guide them.
